We are 3 professional hobby Breeders/Exhibitors
Proud Members of the "Canadian Kennel Club"(CKC) We all have been involved with pure bred
dogs for over 22 years. These Were; Pekingese, American Cocker spaniel and The Pomeranian,
While I/we still love these breeds as well as others
We were captivated by the Chihuahua after years of misunderstanding the breed. Like many
people we thought of the Chihuahua as  yappy, snarling, cranky, little ankle biters.
I met a Chihuahua breeder at a dog show a few years ago. I was instantly smitten. How I had
misunderstood the breed!! They are the most loving, happy, affectionate, intelligent breed I have
ever encountered!  They are happy, bouncing, Joyful, deeply loving   As in the case of any breed, if
the breeder breeds dogs with good temperament the puppies tend to have good temperaments.
When I brought our first one home my husband was reluctant. But, it only took a few days for her to
win him over. Now he is obsessed with her lol.

I have done a lot of research on this breed, read many books and have been mentored by other
breeders who show their Chihuahuas  with 10,20,30 years of experience with the Chihuahua. Their
help and advice has been so valuable when it came to selecting our dogs. I have recently taken
classes for confirmation judging so I know what I am looking for. Starting this fall I will be taking
handling classes so we can do our own handling when we can. Hiring a handler can be quite costly.
We may even offer handling services in the future.

Our dogs come from Canadian and American lines heavy with Champions going back as far as 5
generations

We
only breed Chihuahuas exclusively. I honestly feel that if you are truly devoted to perfecting the
breed it takes 100% commitment to it. Also with Chihuahuas coming in 2 official Types; Chihuahua
Long Coat. Or Chihuahua Short coat. It's almost like having 2 different breeds to work on bringing
out the best of the best of both worlds. Admittedly we are more focused at this time on the Long
Coat and double Long Coat. However we still produce excellent show quality short coats. Our
purpose for breeding (
other than our love of the breed, and the pleasure of having cute little puppies around) is to
produce champions for ourselves not to meet public demand. That being said we produce about 5
or 6 litters per year. Not all make the cut for show quality but to the untrained eye you can hardly
tell the difference sometimes it is just a tooth out of alignment or an imperfect bite. That makes
virtually no difference in their over all appearance. These will be offered for sale. Sometimes a
female is perfect Show quality but too small for breeding will be offered after we show her and finish
her championship. She will then be spayed and available (
You can not show them if they are spayed or
neutered
) Occasionally we do offer Show Quality and or breeding quality to very select customers
but there is a certain criteria that must be met for us to approve you. When we do offer show quality
it will be on the condition
the dog will be shown

We have chosen to breed Chihuahuas for the pure love of the breed. From the absolutely comical,
saucy, very clever, almost romantic Beauty of their appearance, Their ears sprung up so erect so
as to not miss a trick. Their illustrious eyes so wide and alert you can see right down into their soul.
To their high energy spunk. The joy of  Watching them run and play. They run so fast that those tiny
feet don't even seem to touch the floor. It is enough to make you giggle.
The absolute Joy, companionship and profound Loyalty  they bring us each and every day. For
those quiet moments cuddled up in our arms, it seems all is right with the world. Then suddenly
they pop up, grab you face with their little paws, and smother you with kisses.

About Us
We do not breed our dogs just to make dozens of pets.
We plan our litters carefully and pair the 2 we believe will best compliment each
other. Our aim is always a show Quality pup.
Temperament is extremely important to us. It is every bit as important to us to
produce puppies that will grow up into lovable, good natured, adults as it is to
produce puppies that are healthy and esthetically correct
We strongly believe all dogs, Show, Pet, Breeders, deserve to be loved and treated
as though were the only dog in the world!  No matter how well intentioned, or how
hard one can work if you have too many you can not possibly be giving them each
of them the love, time, and affection they so need and deserve.  Furthermore every
dog has the right to prompt medical treatment and preventative treatment ie Annual
exam, Total wellness blood work (done annually, Females have this done just prior
to breeding to insure they are in optimal health and fit for pregnancy) Vaccines,
screening for genetic defects, regular fecal exam and Once a month Parasite
prevention
(Advantage Multi or revolution)
as well as emergency care if the need should arise. We do believe in the use "pillow
bottom" cages (not wire bottom) for there safety when they are not being
supervised. Some enjoy it as their bed.
Otherwise, our dogs have the full run of our houses.
Our Females have a maximum of 3 to 4 litters during their breeding years after
which they are spayed and retired.
We never subject any female to repeated Cesarean Sections. If at anytime Cesarean
section is required that female is spayed at the same time.
We do not breed females under 4 lbs
We Screen our potential buyers carefully be prepared we will have as many
questions for you as you should have for us.
We do not give breeding rights to Females under 4 lbs When and if we give
breeding rights it will be upon approval
upon reaching 4 weeks of age, our puppies are moved to the main living area of our
homes to maximize human interaction as well as play with our other dogs for
optimum socialization and development
We do not sell to pet stores, brokers, puppy mills, or back yard breeders.

Our Statement of Ethics
Treatment and Training of our dogs
First and Foremost I am a strong believer in the Teachings of
Ceaser Millan (The Dog Whisperer)
I am my dog's Pack leader. Many people make the mistake of thinking the
Chihuahua is so tiny, cute and vulnerable, that they fail to teach their dogs
discipline. They need discipline and boundaries as much as a Rotty or a German
Shepard. You do not do the Chihuahua any favours by being softy in fact you will
create the very thing people hate about Chihuahuas. A lot of the reason for a
yappy, snappy, cranky Chihuahua, is a lack of leadership and discipline. It is
humans alone that have given the Chihuahua a bad reputation! When the tiny little
chihuahua rules the roost they become dominant, aggressive, possessive, cranky
and will even bite. They also feel, as the pack leader it their job to protect their
pack that means You, your family and your home! Too much responsibility for
such a little dog making them fearful snappy and yappy. Our Dogs Know
I am in
Control at all times and that I will protect them and our home. They are so easy to
correct! I never ever hit or spank my dogs!! I think that should go without saying!
However, some people still do it. I use a calm assertive energy approach. I don't
allow them to be fearful I correct that behaviour. My dogs are much happier calmer
knowing they don't have to be the pack leader. There is no rivalry or jockeying for
position because I am the leader. Because of discipline and boundaries, I am able
to allow my dogs the full run of the house.
However, there are designated areas they are not allowed such as out Kitchen and
dinning area. They are Pee pad trained but in the warmer months they go outside
when possible. They have a huge run on our farm that is equipped with a chicken
wire roof to protect them from predator birds ( that will actually take a chihuahua).
Even though I have taken all precautions to keep them safe out doors, I still never
allow them outside without supervision. At night some sleep with me and Some
sleep with other members of the family, and some sleep in pillow bottom cages.
When I leave them (Which is almost never) I divide them up in separate rooms and
again some in cages for their own safety and security. It is OK to love and value
your Chihuahua as much as a human but please do not make the mistake of
turning your Chihuahua who is a canine, into a human. This is unnatural. Your
dog is only capable of thinking as a canine not as a human. It is us that need to
think like a canine in order to establish rules and boundaries for a happy healthy
highly socialized loving Chihuahua.
